Total fag

Allahpundit gives a unique perspective on the Annti-Christ's "successful joke":

To be honest, I don’t think Ann’s remark was anti-gay, I really don’t.

Well, sure! What's anti-gay about calling someone a faggot? That's no more anti-gay than calling someone a nigger is racist! Which it totally isn't, as we learned from George Allen! As Mike Gallagher points out, it's only an insult if you're actually a faggot.

The panel brought up words Democrats have used in the past, including Senator Dick Durbin’s infamous comparison of the US military’s treatment to detainees at Gitmo to Nazis, Soviet gulags and Cambodia’s Pol Pot.

You have to admit, Allahpundit makes one good point after another here. Sure, Ann Coulter may have appeared on national television and called a presidential candidate a hateful homophobic name, but this one time, a Democrat pointed out that much like the Nazis and the Soviets, the United States maintains a concentration camp for political enemies! Therefore, Ann should get a free pass for everything she ever does.

Exit question: What’s worse: John Kerry calling our troops dumb or Ann Coulter’s use of “faggot.”

And he goes out with a zinger! After all, what's really a greater crime: something Ann Coulter did, or something John Kerry didn't do? I think we all know the answer to that.

Kerry is a Senator, not an entertainer. And he did imply the troops were not too smart, and he did make a name for himself years ago calling our troops in Vietnam 'rapists' and 'baby killers'.

absurd thought -
God of the Universe loves
traitorous senators

Senator Kerry did not imply that the troops were not too smart. He implied that President Bush is not too smart. This quip was then deliberately misread by media blatherers in order to gin up a new outrage-of-the-day.
